Re: Ken Dyer's take on the situation
So how can this perilous situation be improved? Most importantly, Sullivan must stop doing player deals and talking to agents but follow the example of practically every other professional club and appoint someone with experience and knowledge, whether a chief executive, managing director or whatever, to act as a conduit between owners and management.

_______

they could do this tomorrow- in fact this was one of the " five things we should ask west ham to do " when it all started kicking off

Appoint a proper CEO and Talent/Recruitment head who reports into him -would appease the fans immediately and keep them still as owners.

Re: Ken Dyer's take on the situation
What gets me about the whole situation is the shock horror / surprise that it all kicked off

It's been building up & building up since before we even moved

Fans were genuinely concerned at the distance from the pitch & were told not to worry, there would be state-of-the-art retractable seating. Broken promise

We would never sell any more of our promising homegrown players. James Tomkins. Broken promise

Transport links & ease of access to the stadium would be better than the Boleyn. It isn't. Broken promise

Top quality players would be signed, enticed by the prospect of playing in magnificent 60k+ stadium. What like Snodgrass for Payet & a variety of mercenary loanees?
They've made a massive profit & nett spend of a pittance. Broken promise

Improved security at the new stadium. It rather backfired on them on Saturday. Broken promise

Apart from all of these & the other broken promises we have had Sullivan taking the piss in every transfer. We're about to sign Carvalho, offering less than the selling clubs asking price, same with Dedonker, same with Bacca etc etc
All the big talk about just missing out on Lacazette, Batsuashyi & all the rest of them. Pie in the sky bollocks

It's got so bad that many clubs probably won't deal with them now. Leicester certainly won't

Did the board really think they could keep serving shit to their "customers" & not get any reaction

Re: Ken Dyer's take on the situation
We may be in the PL but were not watching regular PL football, hence relegation at some stage in the near future will happen under this ownership.

Large chunk of the support can see the lack of decent squad additions has led to this likely outcome and that we're past affecting the performances and what will happen in games. Lets face it we've given them until 2/3rds through the season to show some sort of fight, of which they've shown little add to that the outs without replacements and you have a 'fresh start' looking more appealing.

Put it this way i was shocked we turned over Watford in our last win.

the man for the job (short term) was sat in the directors box unmoved by the protest, step forward (one) Trevor Brooking.

He's got this right, but missed one important part Pelee tweeted.

He said the players were nervous about this game because they thought there might be trouble and it affected the players. Noble the same.

How do we put that right for the next game?

Good article, though was Mark Noble really only there as a special guest?
